On June 5th, a job signing ceremony for the family members and children of the Malan Base was held between central enterprises, Xinjiang state-owned enterprises, and the Malan Base. The Group's enterprises stationed in Xinjiang have always shown a strong sense of national defense and political responsibility, enthusiastically caring for and supporting the construction of the base, and doing their utmost to solve problems for the officers and soldiers of the base. This time, Xinxing Iron and Steel Company, an enterprise stationed in Xinjiang representing the group, signed employment agreements with the family members and children of the Malan Base, accounting for 7% of the military dependents employed this time, ranking first among the central enterprises that absorbed the children of military dependents this time. This helped solve the employment problems for military dependents at Malan Base, receiving unanimous praise from leaders of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The Malan Base is located in Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is one of the research centers of China's nuclear test base in the 1960s, once hailed as the "cradle" of China's nuclear weapons, and the site of China's first atomic bomb test. It is also a military memorial site for the development of "two bombs". For a long time, generations of officers and soldiers at the Malan Base have "worked hard to achieve earth-shattering feats and were willing to remain anonymous," successfully completing various scientific research tasks deployed by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission, and making important contributions to the development of China's national defense science and technology.
In this employment signing event, Xinxing Jihua, CNPC, Sinopec, State Grid, and 12 other state-owned enterprises signed the first batch of employment agreements with the family members and children of the Malan Base, effectively alleviating the employment difficulties of military dependents at the Malan Base. The Group's enterprises stationed in Xinjiang will further fulfill their social responsibilities as central enterprises, doing their utmost to help the base with employment work, sharing the concerns of the local government and the base, encouraging the soldiers of the base to take root in the Gobi Desert and devote themselves to national defense, promoting the social development and long-term stability of Xinjiang, and making their due contribution to the comprehensive advancement of western development.
