10From July 17th to 19th, the group company's "New Ji Cup" welding professional skills competition was successfully held at Xinxin Heavy Industry Company.Zhang Bo, chairman of the China Metallurgical Construction Materials Trade Union, attended the final opening ceremony and gave a speech.Li Meixia, deputy secretary of the Party committee, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and chairman of the Trade Union of the Group Company, attended the meeting.
Zhang Bo spoke highly of the holding of this competition, and hehoped that the group company would create a good atmosphere of respecting labor, knowledge, talent, and creation within the enterprise through the competition, inspiring employees to enhance their abilities, improve skills, and achieve success, fully implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi's speech at the May 1st Labor Model symposium and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions' theme activity "Chinese Dream, Labor Beauty," using labor to support the Chinese Dream.
Thislargecompetitionisan important measure for the group company to deeply carry out the education and practice activities of the Party's mass line,strengthen talent team building, and implementthe "science and technology for enterprise development, talent for enterprise strengthening" strategy. To ensure the quality of the competition, the group trade union hired a team of 5 national-level judges. During the selection competition, various third-level enterprises carried out extensive learning, training, and selection examinations. More than 40 third-level enterprises and more than 2,000 welders participated in the selection competition, setting off a mass campaign of "learning new knowledge and mastering new technologies." Finally,from various secondary companies26 finalists were selected and recommendedto participate in the theoretical and practical examinations. After fierce competition, 4 contestants, including Kang Haizeng from Xinxin Heavy Industry Xinxin Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., won the first prize in the competition,Yang Hongbo from Xinxin Cast Iron Co., Ltd.and 9 other contestants won the second prize,Liu Lishan from Ji Hua 3523 Special Equipment Co., Ltd.and 13 other contestants won the third prize; Xinxin Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. won the honorary title of "Excellent Unit" in the competition, and Xinxin Cast Iron Co., Ltd. and Ji Hua Group Co., Ltd. respectively won the honorary title of "Excellent Organization Award".
