12Month24Day, the group's undertaken research project, "Study on Several Issues of Building Standardized Boards of Directors in Central Enterprises," successfully passed the review by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council. The chairman and Party secretary of the group, Liu Mingzhong, and the group's Party Standing Committee member and board secretary, Xu Jianhua, attended the review meeting.
The review panel, composed of experts including Li Bing, Director of the Restructuring Bureau of SASAC; Miao Gengshu, former chairman of China Minmetals Corporation and chairman of Sinotrans & CSC Holdings Co., Ltd.; Ma Zhengwu, chairman of China Chengtong Holdings Group; Professor Ning Xiangdong of Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management; and Professor Gao Chuang, assistant to the president and dean of the School of Management at the University of International Business and Economics, gave high praise and full affirmation to the research report. They believed that the research project has many highlights and innovations, and has strong guiding significance for the continuous deepening and further promotion of the standardization of boards of directors in central enterprises. They unanimously agreed that the project passed the review and concluded successfully.
Guo Xiaowei, deputy inspector of the Restructuring Bureau of SASAC, presided over the review meeting, and members of the research team participated in the meeting.
