On December 21, the Group's 7th Science and Technology Conference Science and Technology Achievement Review Meeting was held in Beijing. The meeting invited industry experts from the fields of iron and steel metallurgy, water supply and drainage engineering, textiles and garments, advanced materials, special vehicles, and emergency equipment to serve as judges. Yang Bin, General Manager of the Group Company, attended the meeting and participated in the review, and Xu Jianhua, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, Zhuangguan Shares, Jihua Shares, and Xinxin Heavy Industry respectively reported on the major scientific and technological achievements made since the 6th Science and Technology Conference. After listening to the reports, the expert review panel questioned each application project and reviewed 43 projects from six dimensions: technological innovation, comprehensive impact, economic benefits, social benefits, awards, and patents, providing professional guidance and suggestions for the Group to more effectively reward excellent scientific and technological achievements.
After the review, Yang Bin made important instructions on the Group's scientific and technological innovation work. He emphasized,First, it is necessary to deepen understanding and unify thinking, and attach great importance to scientific and technological innovation work.All units should deeply understand the important role of scientific and technological innovation in driving the healthy development of enterprises, further increase the importance of scientific and technological innovation work, promote product upgrading and replacement through improving scientific and technological innovation capabilities, enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises, and effectively play a supporting and leading role of scientific and technological innovation in enterprise development.Second, it is necessary to improve the level of scientific and technological innovation and create a good innovation atmosphere.The level of scientific and technological innovation determines the level of scientific and technological achievements. The Group should further improve the level of scientific and technological innovation, enhance the height of scientific and technological innovation, focus on strengthening independent innovation capabilities, give full play to the advantages of wide business areas and large industrial scale, carry out collaborative innovation, and form a good environment and atmosphere for scientific and technological innovation.Third, it is necessary to innovate project evaluation methods and improve the level of scientific and technological management.Explore the implementation of process management and supervision of enterprise scientific and technological projects from the Group level. All units should strictly control scientific and technological projects, improve the level of scientific and technological management, make use of the implementation of the Group's “National Science and Technology Progress Award Project”, reasonably arrange scientific research projects, and promote the output of high-level scientific and technological innovation achievements by improving project quality.
Xu Jianhua gave a brief comment on the scientific and technological achievements that participated in the review this time, put forward the idea of changing the ideas for the next Science and Technology Conference’s scientific and technological achievement selection, and put forward three requirements for promoting scientific and technological innovation work.First,We must be practical and focus on effectiveness, encourage aggressive innovation, and pay attention to the output of disruptive and revolutionary scientific and technological achievements.Second,We must be market-oriented and closely organize scientific and technological innovation work around national strategies and market needs.Third,We must attach importance to the development and application of patents and other intellectual property rights, and achieve the linkage of technological innovation and intellectual property rights with high-value patents as the support.
More than 40 people, including heads of secondary companies, scientific and technological backbones, relevant technical leaders, and the Group Technology Center, attended the meeting.
