The competition was jointly organized by the 3523 Company's Trade Union and Youth League Committee. It lasted for half a month, from July 15th to July 30th, with a tight and intense schedule. All matches were held during employees' off-work hours. A total of 5 teams participated, grouped by department and branch. The participating players were colleagues who helped each other at work, but were 'unyielding' opponents on the court. Cheers, shouts, and applause were heard throughout each game. After 10 grueling qualifying matches, the General Assembly Department ultimately won the championship, the Comprehensive Party Branch followed closely behind to win the second place, and the Manufacturing Department won the third place.
