In accordance with the requirements of the Notice on Issuing One-Time Condolence Payments to Retired Cadres Who Participated in the Revolutionary Work During the War of Resistance Against Japan and Before, issued by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Finance, and Xinxing Jihua Group, on the afternoon of August 28th, four people including Gu Bing, Party Secretary of 3523 Company; Wang Ran, Deputy General Manager; He Hongtao, head of the Complaints Office; and Xu Jialin, a labor union official, went to the Shenyang family quarters to visit Yang Zhenjie, a retired cadre from the War of Resistance, to offer sincere blessings and greetings to the war hero, deliver a one-time condolence payment, and present a commemorative medal for the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japan on behalf of the Xinxing Jihua Group, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance together.
Yang Zhenjie, born in 1927, joined the Eighth Route Army in 1939. At the age of 13, he joined the Eighth Route Army and embarked on the battlefield to defend the country against Japanese aggression. He participated in battles in Jiaozhou, Qingdao, and Yantai and went through several periods of war, including the War of Resistance Against Japan, the War of Liberation, and the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. He was awarded second-class and third-class merits for his significant contribution to the liberation of the Chinese nation.
At Yang Zhenjie's home, Gu Bing learned in detail about his physical condition and family life, and urged his family to pay more attention to the elderly's diet and daily life. Yang Zhenjie expressed his gratitude for the company leaders' visit on the eve of the anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance. Even after many years of retirement, he still has deep affection for the company and inquired about the company's development. During their conversation, Gu Bing briefed him on the company's progress and expressed the company's leadership and employees' wishes for the elder's health and longevity.
