Following this, led by Wang Ran, the company's Party Committee vice secretary and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, 23 mid-level cadres and key personnel underwent individual talks emphasizing adherence to discipline and maintaining bottom lines.
During the talks, Wang Ran stressed that as Party leading cadres, they must always remember their Party membership, be strict with themselves, and hold firmly to their principles. Firstly, they must thoroughly studythe Constitution of the Communist Party of China,the Code of Conduct for Communist Party Members, the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China, and the Regulations on Accountability of the Communist Party of China, rememberingthe fifteen-character principle of "those with power have responsibility, those with responsibility must take it, and those who fail to fulfill their responsibilities will be held accountable." Accountability should be used as a sharp tool for strict Party governance. Secondly, they must strictly abide by the eight-point regulation, the six prohibitions, and the group's nine regulations. They should not do what they shouldn't do, go where they shouldn't go, say what they shouldn't say, or take what they shouldn't take. They must eliminate the phenomena of "eating, taking, carding, and demanding," managing themselves, their subordinates, and their families. Thirdly, they must strictly abide by the "six major disciplines" (namely, political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, mass discipline, work discipline, and life discipline), regularly reflecting on their actions and holding themselves to high standards. Fourthly, as department leaders, they must fully implement the "dual responsibility," shouldering both administrative management and Party conduct and integrity building. They must regularly remind, advise, and talk with department personnel, addressing problems promptly to prevent minor issues from escalating.
Those who participated in the talks expressed that the talks strengthened their awareness of discipline and bottom-line thinking, clarified political discipline and political rules, making "ear-pulling and sleeve-tugging" and "red-faced sweating" the norm. This guides Party leading cadres to proactively, consciously, and to a high standard, complete various tasks, setting high-voltage lines and warning lines for Party members. Discipline and rules are established, strengthened, and implemented effectively, becoming untouchable bottom lines, creating a positive and clean atmosphere for the company.
