The Group's Leading Group for Responding to the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic heldIts first meeting on January 29, making special arrangements for emergency production of protective clothing. On the morning of February 2, Zhang Yalin, Party Secretary, Chairman, and Head of the Leading Group, presided over the second meeting to specifically coordinate and promote the rush production of epidemic prevention materials and equipment. Yang Bin, Deputy Secretary of the Group's Party Committee, Director, General Manager, and Deputy Head of the Leading Group; Wang Zhaogang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Group's Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Member of the Leading Group; and Rong Yan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chief Accountant, and Member of the Leading Group, were in attendance.

The meeting heard reports on the production progress of epidemic prevention clothing, masks, medicines, and other materials and equipment from Ji Hua Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries, including Shijiazhuang3502, Nanjing 3503, Nanjing 3521, Wenxi 3534, Mianyang 3536, Zhuozhou 3543, Changji 7555, and other enterprises, as well as from Xin Xing Ji Hua Pharmaceutical Holdings and its subsidiaries, including Hainan Haiyao, Huajin Pharmaceutical, and Jinhui Pharmaceutical. Specific discussions were held on issues such as material supply, equipment configuration, and personnel allocation.

In his speech, Zhang Yalin emphasized: First, attach great importance. We must deeply understand the series of important instructions and directives from General Secretary Xi Jinping. We must deeply understand that as managers of the assets of the Party and the people, and as leading cadres of Party-affiliated central enterprises, we must ensure the efficient operation of the state-owned assets entrusted to us at times of national and people's crisis, and timely and effectively produce the protective clothing, masks, medicines, and other materials and equipment most needed on the front lines of the epidemic fight, ensuring the urgent needs of epidemic prevention and control. Second, take the initiative to take responsibility. Relevant enterprises should fully understand General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest entrustment regarding the "six forces" of state-owned enterprises,actively connect, volunteer, resolutely abandon negative thinking and behavioral patterns such as "impossible" and "infeasible," and demonstrate the spirit of "moving forward and upward," striving to undertake more emergency production tasks and demonstrating the responsibility of central enterprises. Third, ensure protection. More and more detailed care should be provided for cadres and employees involved in production in terms of commuting support, health protection, and treatment subsidies. Leading members of relevant production enterprises must resolutely implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the active role that all levels of Party organizations and the vast number of Party members and cadres should play in winning the battle against the epidemic, and the requirements of the Central Committee's Notice on Strengthening Party Leadership and Providing Strong Political Guarantees for Winning the Battle against the Epidemic, fulfilling their responsibilities, commanding from the front, and fully mobilizing and giving full play to their exemplary role, fighting fortress, and vanguard model role. Fourth, organize carefully. We must improve the level of scientific management and the ability of modernized governance, coordinating the preparation of materials, equipment configuration, personnel training, and production qualifications to ensure that preparation, scheduling, and rush production are orderly and effective. Fifth, ensure sufficient funds. We must leverage the advantages of the group's overall operations and resource coordination and must not allow factors such as insufficient funds to restrict or delay the production and supply of epidemic prevention materials and equipment. Sixth, boost morale. We must carry forward the spirit of struggle, improve our ability to struggle, and with healthy bodies and abundant energy, fully and completely participate in the fight against the epidemic and the production of protective materials, resolutely winning the battle against the epidemic.

Yang Bin pointed out that we should use this opportunity to provide protection equipment in response to the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic as a chance to hone our abilities, truly making enterprises an indispensable national emergency force. Leading GroupThe first meeting of the Leading Group on January 29 emphasized the need to raise the political standing, strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission, carefully summarize the experience of producing and supplying protective clothing for Xiaotangshan Hospital during the 2003 SARS prevention and control, give full play to the advantages of the national textile backbone enterprise's industrial chain, act quickly, form a joint force, and speed up the production of medical protective clothing to alleviate the shortage of medical protective clothing by all means. The meeting required that enterprises at all levels and the vast number of Party members and cadres and employees should earnestly unify their thoughts and actions with the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the spirit of the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, and make every effort to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control. Leading Party committees at all levels should stick to their posts, command from the front, personally coordinate and solve the contradictions and difficulties faced in production, implement various guarantees for frontline workers' holiday production, strengthen self-protection, and ensure that the task of producing protective clothing is completed with high quality and high efficiency.
