(By Sui Liying) On June 29th, 3523 Company held a commendation meeting and special party lecture on "Two Outstanding and One Advanced" to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, welcoming the party's centenary, commending advanced individuals, inspiring morale, boosting enthusiasm, and motivating party members and cadres to remember their original aspirations and missions, and to bravely assume responsibilities. Tong Shengli, Party Secretary and Executive Director of the company, delivered a special party lecture on party history education. Wang Ran, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, presided over the meeting.
Comrade Tong Shengli delivered a special party lecture on party history education themed "Practicing the Initial Aspiration and Mission, Continuing the Red Gene, Upholding Ideals and Beliefs, and Vigorously Promoting High-Quality Development of the Company." He emphasized that looking back at the glorious century-long journey of the Party, since its birth in 1921, the Communist Party of China, from the small boat carrying the revolutionary fire in Nanhu, Jiaxing, to the "China" giant ship navigating the waves and leading the great cause of rejuvenation, has led the people of all ethnic groups in China to achieve the great leap from standing up to becoming prosperous and strong. This year marks not only a significant moment for our Party to celebrate its centenary, but also a key juncture in the historical convergence of the two "centennial goals." By deeply studying the history of the Party, we can understand why the Communist Party of China is "capable," and gain a deeper understanding of the historical inevitability of upholding the leadership of the Communist Party of China; we can understand why Marxism is "effective," and gain a deeper understanding of the truthfulness of Marxism and its Sinicized innovative theories; and we can understand why socialism with Chinese characteristics is "good," and gain a deeper understanding of the correctness of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Company's party members should consciously regard learning party history as a "required course," drawing nourishment and motivation from the glorious journey and great achievements of the Party, strengthening their ideals and beliefs, practicing their original aspirations and missions, inspiring their sense of responsibility and determination, and truly achievingLearning from history to understand principles, learning from history to increase confidence, learning from history to cultivate morality, learning from history to practicewith the mission and responsibility of socialist builders and successors, uniting development forces, and more energetically striding towards a new journey and building achievements in a new era.
Tong Shengli reviewed the 83-year history of 3523 Company, recounting how the company, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, developed from a cotton mill into a military industry enterprise, making a leap from producing military buttons, buckles, and ginned cotton to producing military equipment, emergency equipment, sanitary equipment, and special vehicles, and making outstanding contributions to social development and national defense construction.
