On June 8, the working group conducted a special fire safety inspection of four units: Jihua Group's headquarters, Jihua Investment, Jihua Guomao, and Jihua Business Chain.
Three main types of hidden dangers were discovered during the inspection: First, all units had varying degrees of blocked safety passages, such as the accumulation of sundries in the safety passage on the floor where the Jihua Group exhibition hall is located, and some safety passage doors being locked at Jihua Guomao; second, some emergency rescue lights were missing or damaged; third, employees' knowledge of fire safety, escape, and self-rescue skills still need improvement.
During the inspection, He Ke made arrangements and deployments for the safety production work of Jihua's units in Beijing. He demanded that each unit conduct another safety production hazard investigation and rectification, focusing on the investigation and rectification of fire safety hazards. For the discovered hazards, immediate rectification should be implemented as far as possible; for those that cannot be immediately rectified, rectification plans and responsible persons should be assigned. He also pointed out that the opportunity of the safety production month should be utilized to conduct fire safety knowledge training for all employees and arrange a fire safety drill to effectively improve employees' safety awareness and emergency rescue capabilities.
