On the morning of December 7th, to further study and implement the spirit of the 18th Central Committee's Third Plenary Session, the Group invited Shi Zhihong, a member of the Central Propaganda Team and Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference's Committee of Social and Legal Affairs, to give a special lecture on the "Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Some Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening Reforms." Liu Mingzhong, Chairman and Party Secretary of the Group, presided over the lecture and delivered a speech. Leaders including Sha Ming, Guo Shijin, He Keren, Yang Bin, Meng Fuli, Ma Lijie, and Gao Yawai participated in the study.
In the lecture, Shi Zhihong systematically expounded on the spirit of the 18th Central Committee's Third Plenary Session from three aspects: the milestone Third Plenary Session; the ambitious "Decision" of the Plenary Session; and accurately grasping the nine keywords and key tasks and crucial measures of the "Decision." He focused on improving and developing the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, advancing the modernization of the national governance system and capacity, adhering to "three further emancipations," upholding the reform direction of the socialist market economy, leveraging the leading role of economic system reform, taking promoting social fairness and justice and enhancing people's well-being as the starting point and focus, relying firmly on the people to promote reform, and other key points. He also gave an in-depth interpretation of tasks such as deepening reforms in the economic, political, cultural, social, ecological civilization systems, and Party building systems. He also explained popular concerns such as the "gradual delay of retirement age," the implementation of the "one-child policy" for couples where one spouse is an only child, rural homestead system reform, income distribution and household registration system reform, and state-owned enterprise reform. He used vivid internet slang and detailed case studies, making the lecture both theoretically profound and highly practical.
Chairman Liu Mingzhong demanded that all levels of Party organizations and Party members and cadres must unify their thoughts and actions with the central government's decisions and deployments, and take the study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the Plenary Session as the Group's primary political task for the present and the future. All levels of Party organizations in the Group must attach great importance to this, taking the lecture as an opportunity to act quickly, organize diverse and lively learning and publicity activities, and quickly create a wave of learning and publicity. Through learning activities, we must strengthen our confidence, build consensus, overcome difficulties, work together, further emancipate our minds, emancipate and develop productivity, emancipate and enhance development vitality, resolutely eliminate the disadvantages that affect the company's development, and strive to achieve the "1257831" strategy.
A total of more than 1,200 people, including all members of the headquarters, members of the leadership teams of secondary and tertiary companies, all Party branch secretaries, Party group leaders, and some Party member representatives, participated in the lecture on-site and via video.
