The meeting directly solicited opinions and suggestions from the leading group and grassroots representatives of the contact point on the problems existing in the "four winds" aspects of the leading group and members of the Metallurgical Resources Company, as well as on the company's strategic transformation and accelerated development. The meeting also aimed to understand the hot and difficult issues that concern the grassroots.
After briefly reporting on the progress of the Group's education and practice activities in the previous stage, the next plans, and the progress of the Group's contact point research work, Zhang Tongbo pointed out that the representatives came from the production front line and had the most direct, specific, and practical understanding of the grassroots situation and problems, and they also had the most say. He hoped that everyone would speak frankly and openly to truly improve the mass line activities.

Before the meeting, Zhang Tongbo and his entourage went deep into the site to inspect the sodium bicarbonate and rolling mill renovation projects. The leading group of Metallurgical Resources Company, some middle-level management cadres, and grassroots representatives20attended the symposium.
