Recently, the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council held a special meeting to deploy the implementation of the important instructions from the State Council leaders regarding central enterprises.8Month1On the morning of the day, Sha Ming, the general manager of the Group, quickly convened a leadership team meeting to study and implement measures to support growth, promote reform, adjust structure, and transform the mode of development.
The meeting required that we should analyze the situation of increasing downward pressure and insufficient momentum in the macroeconomic environment, and actively and steadily invest to provide strong support for economic growth; we should seize the opportunity of being selected as a pilot program for expanding the power of the board of directors of central enterprises to actively and steadily deepen state-owned enterprise reform; we should use innovation to drive the transformation of development mode and structural adjustment, and accelerate quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, and upgrading; we should accelerate the improvement of the enterprise's international operation capabilities and levels; and we should strengthen supervision, guidance, and incentive and constraint mechanisms.
While presiding over the meeting, Sha Ming stressed that all sectors and enterprises should attach great importance to the production and operation issues of core and backbone enterprises, adopt feasible and specific operational plans and targeted measures to ensure the completion of production and operation tasks.
