On August 8, the Group Corporation held a third-quarter safety production work meeting. He Keran, the Group Corporation's vice general manager, attended the meeting and delivered a report on safety production work. Group leaders Meng Fuli, Xu Jianhua, and Gao Yawi also attended the meeting.
He Keran conveyed the spirit of the Emergency Notice on Drawing Lessons from the "8.2" Particularly Serious Accident in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, and Deepening the Special Rectification of Safety Production issued by the State Council's Work Safety Committee Office; the notice on further strengthening safety production work issued by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council; and the speech delivered by Comrade Yang Dongliang, director of the State Administration of Work Safety, at the national video conference on safety production. He urged all enterprises to implement the spirit of the meeting and notices.
Combining the situation and existing problems of safety production work in the Group Corporation from January to July, He Keran put forward six requirements for the second half of the year's safety production work: First, immediately organize a major safety production inspection. All enterprises under the Group Corporation should immediately take action, select capable personnel to form inspection teams to carry out major safety production inspections. The general manager and the director of the safety committee of each production enterprise must participate in at least one on-site safety inspection each month, and the vice general manager in charge of safety production must participate in no less than two safety inspections each month. Second, all enterprises and leaders at all levels earnestly implement safety production responsibilities, diligently perform their duties, and resolutely prevent major safety production accidents. Third, deepen the work of achieving safety standardization, and strive to improve the safety management level of enterprises. Enterprises should regard the construction of enterprise safety production standards as an important tool to promote enterprise transformation and upgrading and improve the level of enterprise safety management. Fourth, we must work hard to strengthen team building. All enterprises should regard team building as the focus of strengthening the basic work of safety production, and promote the improvement of team building and the upgrading of grassroots management. Fifth, do a solid job in safety training. We should further strengthen the construction of safety training institutions, equip full-time or part-time personnel in charge of safety training, establish safety training files for all employees, and ensure the demand for safety training funds. Sixth, do a good job in the construction of the emergency management system. At the meeting, He Keran emphasized: Safety production work is related to the life and health of every employee and the survival of the enterprise. We must be prepared for danger in times of peace and always sound the alarm to attach great importance to safety production work and resolutely prevent safety production accidents.
At the meeting, the four major sectors reported on their safety production work from January to July and their work measures for the next stage. They also conducted in-depth discussions on the key and difficult issues and solutions facing the safety production work of the Group Corporation and its various enterprises, achieving good results.
