This newspaper reports (By Sui Liying of Company 3523) that on May 6th, Company 3523, in conjunction with the spirit of the Group's safety production work meeting, and based on the company's actual situation, held a special deployment meeting on "key tasks in safety production." The meeting was presided over by the company's general manager, Tong Shengli, and attended by the company's leadership team, main personnel from the production system, and the safety and technology department.
At the meeting, Tong Shengli raised key safety tasks in seven areas: production, transportation, fire prevention, electrical safety, waterproofing, residential areas, and canteens. In terms of production safety, he pointed out that safety should be repeatedly emphasized, and all departments must strengthen safety awareness and comply with regulations, resolutely preventing unauthorized and irregular operations; in terms of traffic safety, he stressed that employees should pay attention to traffic safety during commuting, and employees driving their own cars should pay attention to controlling their speed; during holidays and in bad weather, water, electricity, and fire safety should be closely monitored, and any problems should be reported immediately; in terms of safety in residential areas and canteens, he proposed a thorough check for safety hazards in employee dormitories and inspection of the safety of food purchases and channels in the canteen to ensure food quality. In addition, the company has formulated four basic measures for safety production. First, the production department will take the lead in conducting a major safety inspection of key areas of the company to check for unauthorized driving. Second, a safety production training session will be organized to re-examine the organizational structure of the safety committee, strengthen the capacity building of safety officers, and clarify the main responsibilities for safety matters and the matters that the two business units should pay attention to during operations. Third, the logistics department should strengthen the management of night security personnel and resolutely prevent situations such as sleeping on night duty and unauthorized leaving of posts. Fourth, the Party and Mass Culture Department should carry out publicity work on safety production, establish a special column on safety production in the internal newspaper, and publish a report on safety production in each issue, vigorously promoting and educating the vast number of employees to firmly establish a safety responsibility consciousness.
