4Month11Day，Group2014The Group's Year-opening Summary and Commendation Conference for the first quarter was held in Beijing. Mr. Liu Mingzhong, Chairman and Party Secretary of the Group, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. Mr. Sha Ming, General Manager of the Group, gave a work report on production and operation in the first quarter. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Guo Shijin, Vice Chairman of the Group. Other members of the Group's leadership team, including He Keran, Yang Bin, Meng Fuli, Ma Lijie, Zhang Tongbo, and Gao Yawai, attended the meeting.
Mr. Liu Mingzhong first conveyed the important speech given by State Councilor Wang Yong during his investigation of state-owned enterprises in Anhui, and put forward five clear requirements for implementing the spirit of State Councilor Wang Yong and Director Zhang Yi's speeches: Firstly, promoting improved quality and efficiency, insisting on using the “225” management innovation system as a lever, seeking efficiency in management and in capital. Secondly, accelerating transformation and upgrading, further clarifying the development direction of the four major sectors' transformation and upgrading. Thirdly, comprehensively deepening reforms, creating2a global industrial cluster with international competitiveness and two internationally renowned brands, "XinXing" and "JiHua"; creating5a regionally specialized company with a national layout, overseas development, and leading overall strength domestically; creating a group of "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative" enterprises with leading technology, well-known brands, and leading industrial upgrading; and creating a world-class capital investment company. Based on an in-depth analysis of the problems and situation, Mr. Sha made specific deployments in six aspects for the next stage of work: First, maintain a clear and calm mind, and make rational and accurate judgments about the economic situation. Second, strengthen the functions of operation control of the secondary companies, combining objectives with the current situation, integration, and maintaining growth. Third, promote the "dual-ten layout" and the conversion of the budget plan to a business plan. All secondary companies should complete the"dual-ten layout" business plan according to the clearly defined timeline. Fourth, strengthen market development and refined management, and improve cost efficiency. Fifth, pay attention to preventing financial risks and improving resource allocation efficiency. Sixth, implement the spirit of Director Zhang Yi's speech and carry out the second batch of education and practice activities in a solid manner.
Mr. Sha emphasized that the second quarter is a critical stage for completing the annual targets and tasks.
