Regarding the mass line education and practice activities, Liu Mingzhong put forward three specific goals.
First, in terms of promoting the transformation and upgrading of enterprises, Wuhu Xinxing should first establish the goal of building the world's largest ductile iron pipe production base with core competitiveness. We must work hard on the research and development of various grades of pressure pipes suitable for different media and environments. Secondly, we must build Wuhu Xinxing into a research and development and production base for special steel in East China, leading the country and the world. We must seize the three high points of "technology, market+service+brand, and industry". Third, we must build an ecological casting industrial park to drive the development of the casting industry in East China with thermal logistics. We must learn from Meide Company's production methods and control models. We must build an East China logistics base centered on casting and special steel.
Second, we must improve efficiency through transformation and upgrading to promote increased efficiency and income for employees. We must adhere to the principle of "two no higher than": the total wage bill is not higher than the growth of efficiency, and the growth of personnel income is not higher than the growth of labor productivity.
Third, we must truly change the style of work of cadres. All levels of management personnel should consider the employees, and should keep in mind two sentences: run the enterprise wholeheartedly relying on the employees, and run the enterprise wholeheartedly relying on the personnel who are full of vitality.

After the symposium, accompanied by Li Chengzhang, general manager of Xinxing Cast Iron Pipe Co., Ltd., Liu Mingzhong went to the newly put into operation large-diameter cast iron pipe production workshop for a field investigation. After listening to the relevant person in charge's introduction of the equipment, technology, and products, Liu Mingzhong pointed out that although the large-diameter pipe line has been put into operation, it is still in the stage of fine-tuning and running-in of the equipment. Engineering cannot wait, and the market cannot wait. Wuhu Xinxing must overcome all difficulties and achieve full production by the end of the month. He also expressed high hopes for the cast iron pipe company: not only should we make the production and scale of cast iron pipe products bigger, stronger, and better, but also we should be committed to independently researching and developing innovative cast iron pipe production line equipment manufacturing, and occupy the leading position in equipment manufacturing in the domestic and international cast iron pipe production industry in the future.
